Carl got a new hat. Like it? He picked the yarn and the pattern. I had enough to make a matching hat for the kiddo, but don't have anything to try it on for a photo. Perhaps I should get a grapefruit? :)

Some recent projects
This is my first hat and my first attempt at Cables, made using a delicious Baby Alpaca Yarn. This was gifted to Carl's dad, Eddie. (Forgive the iPhone picture)
This is the same pattern, different yarn made from Alpaca, Wool and Silk. It was nice and chunky. Carl's mom got this one. I'll post pictures of her wearing it as soon as Eddie sends them to me.
Lamb toy for August. I figured babies grow fast so I'll spend most of my baby-knitting on hats and toys that (I hope!) he'll get to use more. This lamb is made from the same Baby Alpaca yarn I used on Eddie's hat. It's so soft and fuzzy.
He has a darling face. I need a name... Any ideas?
So this is what I've been doing with my time. I have another 4 or 5 projects cued up - I'm waiting for my interchangable Needle set from Knitpicks.com
I have a sweater for August, a hat for Carl, and a hat and a cowl neckwarmer for me ready to start. Where are those needles?! :)
